Weekday plates, with the vegetable still on them.
Healthy Recipe Flow is a cooking desk. A page here tells you how to cook a weeknight plate that includes vegetables, beans, grains, or a simple protein. It does not tell you what your body should do.
Pick the kind of cooking, not a plan
A bowl
Chickpeas, carrots, rice
One pan for the vegetables, one pot for the rice. The quinoa salad is the cold version of the same idea.
A pot
Ginger miso soup
Carrots, greens, and tofu in one pot. Miso goes in off the boil. The lentil skillet is the other one-pan pot.
A tray
Rosemary chicken and potatoes
The only chicken recipe. It includes a doneness temperature because that is food safety, not a diet rule.
A morning
Oats, or a skillet pancake
Oats are mixed the night before. The banana pancake is the morning you cook instead of soaking.
What we will not put on a recipe
- A calorie target or a “day of eating”
- A promise about weight, energy, or a condition
- A detox, a cleanse, or a challenge
The eight recipes stay in those four groups. The greens and white beans are the pan you cook when the bunch you bought is still in the fridge. Read the full note before you decide this site is for you.
